"Minecraft Beta 1.7 Update Will Be Take Heart"
9/19/24:
"Oh, hello. Hi.
As you know, the 1.6 update was released 2 - 3 days ago, the bugfixes continue to come. I don't want to dwell on the update too much, to summarize the notable innovations:
It doesn't look functional. It's hard to understand the location of the structures you're building.
Added Hatch, that is, the warehouse cover-like item.
We won't be able to use minecart booster systems anymore. The minecart we ride will not accelerate with the minecarts with us. Although Notch said that the minecart booster rails increased its effect, it was calculated that this effect was around 12%. It's obviously not enough.
Dozens of innovations / bugfix were made, which changed the dynamics of the game as above. There's a long list there. I can't translate it because I don't have time, so if a patriarch with time sends it to the translation, I'm happy to share it by showing a source.
It is said that the system integrated into the game with maps can be used in the future for purposes such as sharing players' own hand drawings, notes or books and maps with other players. That's a pretty good quality.
I'm sure those who follow r/Minecraft or minecraftforum.net have witnessed frequent controversy over the community's future. The most common complaint I've come across is that Minecraft didn't bring a purpose. There are a lot of things I agree with. Although Minecraft is a game in the sandbox, it doesn't offer much, except to turn the cans of 1m 2 into the arts - except for them, it doesn't offer much. It would be pointless to conclude that this approach is inadequate. I'm sure we all want more. Yes, the game is in the beta stage, and we are the members of the group consisting of 2.3 million beta testers. There's no reason why the game doesn't have a more satisfying and fun content.
"Why not better?" based on the question, Terraria sets a very good example for Minecraft, which was published last month and produced in as little as 6 months. "Hey! How can Terraria Minecraft's 2D flashing be a better example?" if you have the idea, it would not be wrong to rule out that you ignored the fact that Minecraft is the stepson of the Infiniminer and Dwarf Fortress games.
From the week he debuted, Terraria has consistently ranked in the top 10 of the most sold and most played games on Steam. According to the producers, he was able to sell more than 300,000 copies in a short time. Considering that most of Terraria players are also a Minecraft player: "What exactly happened when it was Millicraft that led these people to play Terraria?" we can ask the question.
As a player who spent more than 30 hours playing Terraria in 1.5 weeks, my answer to this question is a variety of action, mob, item and minerals. Better weapons, better armor, more diverse mob and NPCs add more wealth than you can think of.
A 6-month game produced as 2D offers me this variety, and if I can enjoy it exceptionally, would it not be much more satisfactory on Minecraft? I think that'd be great.
The fact that I've been playing Terraria and Brink lately may have raised my expectations from Minecraft a little bit. That's why I find updates and promises to Minecraft quite inadequate. Minecraft is a game I have consumed in its current form and do not want to play. In time, I end my writing by wishing that the future innovations will change this situation. Thank you for taking the time to read."
TLDR: It’s been a hectic few weeks! Got the Doctor Doom skin and prefer the Pandora's Armor style, finally scored the rare Armor of Doom, found my old SNES and plan to restore it, watched an Alan Watts lecture for class about living in the present and letting go of ego, rekindled my interest in soil science while staying at my brother's, rediscovered Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom and found a long-lost game, Cloning Clyde.
